Slavior is currently looking for a new vocalist/lyricist for the second album. All of the material is written and ready to go. Gregg Analla has had the good fortune to become very busy with his art work and just does not have the time to commit to the band. Gregg has some serious opportunities for his art and we all feel it is a blessing for him. He is doing some amazing stuff with his art and we wish him all of the best. A mutual decision was made by all of us.
Interested vocalist can send links and samples to studio41658@gmail.com. Please check out www.myspace.com/slaviorband

Slavior has been continuing to write for the next album. Things are going well and it seems as the writing is very cohesive and focused. The new material has a bit more edge to it as we continue to focus on strong vocal oriented songs.
Philip is in South America with Steve Vai and will finish up the last two songs when he gets back.
I have been doing recording projects for other people and find it fun. I enjoy the challenge. Some tracks have had specific directions, while others let me run wild. I just did a version of "Nights in White Satin" that is very cool. Michael Sadler of Saga fame is doing the vocals. What a great singer.
I am still accepting projects and can be contacted at msz416@gmail.com

Here is a link to the latest Slavior video Another Planet. This is about as down and dirty as it gets. Two hand held cameras and a nasty board mix. But this is a good representation of the band. Hope you like it.

SLAVIOR OFF TO JAPAN!!!
We will be leaving Monday for a week long trip in Japan. We will be doing some press, a tv show or two, a couple acoustic in-store gigs and two live electric shows. Ryo, keyboard player from Spock's Beard will join us as we will be cranking out Stormbringer by Deep Purple and Can't Happen Here by Rainbow. Should prove to be some great music. We are all very appreciative of all of the hard work and effort put forth by our Japanese label Dingwall. Without them, this dream trip would have never been possible. We will be filming and shooting everything so keep posted for clips. Check out www.myspace.com/slaviorband for all of the details. Material for the second Slavior album is coming along very well. Should prove to be a very solid release. See you when we get back.

I am currently accepting recording projects. Since I have the studio with all of the state of the art vintage gear, I can cut album quality drum tracks. I will use engineer Joe Marlett (www.joemarlett.com) who did the Slavior album among many others to get the drum sounds. I can travel if necessary but to keep costs down, I can cut here at my studio thus keeping the studio time to a minimum. I can either create my own drum ideas and parts or take specific direction on what someone wants to have played. Electronics, percussion are no problem as well. Please feel free to contact me at msz416@gmail.com for more specific information.

Slavior will be going to Japan in August for a promotional tour. We are doing press, a couple acoustic shows in various record stores as well as the following full electric shows:
Aug 23 Dress, Tokyo http://techtrans.s283.xrea.com/live/live.html
Aug 24 Sanctuary, Tokyo http://www.sanctuary-nes.com/home.shtml
We are very excited to go play for our loyal dedicated Japanese following. Even though the other guys in the band have been to Japan before, it is the first time for myself as it has always been the hot bed of rock and metal music. I do remember dreaming about this for many years. This is made possible by all of the hard work by our Japanese label, Dingwall. They really have gone out of their way to make this happen. As every band knows, there is no better feeling than having the support and trust of your label.
Philip Bynoe (www,philipbynoe.com) will be playing bass with us. We are currently about halfway through writing and recording demos for the next album. Philip is also involved with this as well and we welcome his creative input and know he will have a big impact on the Slavior sound. Can't wait to see everyone in Japan in August.
Join Mark Zonder on Tuesday, May 15th at 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST in the Prog Live Interview chat room on www.usaprogmusic.com (click on the Chat link, then the Rooms tab). Ask him questions for an hour to learn more about his music! You must be a registered user of the site, so please register today for FREE.
The Slavior album is officially released in Europe and North America. The Japanese release date is 4/25/07 with release following in South America. We are currently lining up touring dates for the next few months. There are currently two Slavior videos that you can see at the following links:
One is a performance video of Dove (added back on March 17th) while the second video is more of a "making of the band" video that gives some insight into Slavior.
